Jointly organized with the International Conference on
Sustainable Soil and Water Conservation and Rural Development
The 8th i-RESEAT 2026 International Conference on Sustainable Soil and Water Conservation and Rural Development.
Over the past decade, the Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation (ARDSWC) of Taiwan and the Land Development Department (LDD) of Thailand have collaborated closely in soil and water conservation, disaster risk reduction, and rural development. Since 2011, they have implemented the "Landslide and Surface Erosion Control Project in Thailand," achieving significant outcomes in landslide risk assessment, soil erosion control, sediment management, watershed management, and community-based land management.
This conference extends Taiwan–Thailand cooperation through scholarly exchange. The conference focuses on soil and water conservation, forest management, agricultural technology, and rural development. Through academic exchange, it aims to advance innovation in sustainable conservation and rural development, while cultivating researchers and addressing challenges in resource conservation, renewable energy, and health sciences.
The International Conference on Renewable Energy, Sustainable Environmental, Agricultural, Allied Health Sciences, and Artificial Intelligence Technologies (i-RESEAT) serves as a hybrid forum for researchers to share breakthroughs in energy, environment, agriculture, AI, and health sciences. The 8th i-RESEAT 2026, jointly organized with the International Conference on Sustainable Soil and Water Conservation and Rural Development, will be held on May 8, 2026, at the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan.
Origin (2017-2018): The Maejo–Engineo International Conference on Renewable Energy (MEICRE) began in 2017, jointly organized by MJU and Engineo Ltd., Thailand.
Evolution (2021): Renamed to i-RESEAT to strengthen its global academic identity. Jointly organized by MJU with Kaohsiung Medical University (Taiwan) and University of Stavanger (Norway).
Global Expansion (2022-Present): Hosted by Warsaw University of Technology (Poland) and later expanded to hybrid formats. The 6th and 7th conferences returned to Maejo University, establishing i-RESEAT as a premier international forum.
